Requirements for ECTS Recognition of the MOOC AI in Society within your Degree Programme

How to acquire 2 or 3 ECTS for the MOOC within the Module Exchange

In order to receive recognition of ECTS credits within your degree programmes for the MOOC AI in society, students within the Una Europa Module Exchange are required to...

a) pass the MOOC by completing the exercises and downloading the certificates,

b) at the end of term, pass an on-site exam, covering the learning contents of the MOOC.

Key facts about the Exam in Spring Term 2026

  • the written exam will take place on May 19th, 2026.
  • For UZH students the exam will take place from 10:30-12:00 at the Irchel Campus in room Y15-G-19. 
  • open-book
  • grading will be pass/fail
  • bring your own device
  • 3 ECTS covering chapters 1 to 6 = 90 min
  • 2 ECTS covering chapters 1 to 4 = 60 min

Registration for the MOOC AI in Society Exam on May 19th, 2026

To make sure the ECTS from the MOOC will be transferred to your record later on, please use this form to upload your certificates of completion and to register for the final exam on May 19th, 2026. Information on the Exam at Universidad Complutense de Madrid

Information on the MOOC Exam at the University of Zurich

The on-site exam will take place on May 19th, 2026 at the Irchel Campus in room Y15-G-19. The exam will start at 10:30am. Please bring your UZH Card for identification and ensure your device is fully charged, as there will be no possibility to charge it during the exam. 

The booking process is different since the MOOC is a module external to UZH. In fact, you don’t have to “book it” as you do with your regular modules at UZH. Please follow the instrcutions as indicated above.
